Dear Alumni,

 

Kent appoints new Chancellor

Those of you who have not visited the University of Kent website recently may be interested to know that the University has appointed a new Chancellor.  Sir Robert Worcester will take up his role on 1 August 2006, succeeding Sir Crispin Tickell who retires after 10 years as Chancellor.  

 

The University of Kent in America Inc

In November 2005, a reception was held in New York City to celebrate the establishment of UKA Inc, the organisation for alumni and friends of the University of Kent in America.   

 

There will be an Alumni Reception on Thursday 27th April in Chicago

Alumni who are members of this professional networking site may be interested to know that in response to a number of requests from alumni, we are setting up an group on the site.  Alumnus Alan Fouracre (K90) has generously offered to fund this, and we hope to have the group up and running by May.  We hope that this group will be a useful resource for those of you already using the site.
